Frequency converter UL 61800-5-1 certification is the United States Underwriters Laboratories( UL) A safety standard issued for frequency converter equipment. This standard focuses on the safety performance of frequency converters, including electrical, electronic, mechanical and environmental requirements.

UL 61800-5-1 the standard requires that the frequency converter should be designed and manufactured to prevent fire, electric shock, radiation and mechanical hazards.
