GB/T 36276-2023 it is the national standard of "lithium ion battery for power energy storage", which was issued by the State Administration of market supervision and administration and the State Standardization Administration on December 28, 2023, and is scheduled to be officially implemented on July 1, 2024. The purpose of this standard is to standardize and guide the production and use of lithium-ion batteries for electric energy storage, and to ensure the safety, reliability and performance of products.

1. GB/T 36276-2023 standard scope of application:

compared with the old standard (GB/T 36276-2018), the scope of application of the new standard GB/T 36276-2023 has been expanded. It is not only applicable to the design, manufacture, testing, operation, maintenance and overhaul of lithium-ion batteries for power energy storage, but also clearly includes battery clusters in the scope of application, making the standard more comprehensive. Specifically, the new standard covers battery cells, battery modules, and battery clusters, and sets clear requirements for key operating parameters and performance safety at all levels.
