E/e-Mark certification: vehicle and related parts product testing certification

SRF 2024-10-11 15:19

E/e-Mark certification: an approval system based on the technical quality standards formulated by the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UN Economic Commission of Europe). The granted agency tests and certifies vehicles and related parts and components, and issues certificates to qualified products. After obtaining the certificate, the manufacturer marks the E mark on its products before being approved for sale in ECE member countries. The United Nations Economic Commission for Europe is a subsidiary body of the United Nations. Its current membership includes 48 member states in Europe, Africa and Asia. Certificates issued by any one of the member states are mutually recognized in other member states. All vehicles, key components and systems entering Europe should be approved by the relevant European Ministry of Transport, which is currently the so-called E/e-Mark certification, which is embodied in the E mark and E mark certification.

the electromagnetic compatibility test standards mainly for body parts, electronic and electrical products include but are not limited to cigarette lighters, car refrigerators, car germicidal lights, inverters, reversing radar, reversing images, display screens, battery packs, etc.

R100

on July 2, 2021, UNECE of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe officially released the 03 series of revised documents (hereinafter referred to as R100.03 version) on the regulations of UN ECE R100 for automotive power batteries, which will take effect immediately from the date of publication.
version R100.03 has the following revisions compared to the old version R100.02:
1, newly added waterproof protection requirements
2, newly added battery system failure and low power alarm requirements
3, test qualification determination conditions modification
4, pre-test SOC for vibration, simulated collision, extrusion, fire, short circuit and thermal shock cycle tests is modified from not less than 50% to not less than 95%
5, and test current for overcharge protection test is modified from 1/3C is modified as the maximum charging current
specified by the manufacturer 6, the overcurrent test
7 is added, and the low temperature protection of REESS system is newly added, air emission management, vehicle operating systems that manage the safe operation of REESS Send warnings for operating failures, REESS system temperature management alarms, and documentation requirements for heat transfer protection and alarm strategies

R136

R136 certification is for L-class vehicles with a speed of more than 6 km/h, including power batteries for various two-wheel/tricycle types such as electric bicycles and electric motorcycles.
On January 4, 2023, the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) officially issued the 01 series of revised documents on the regulations of the L-type vehicle power battery UN ECE R136 (hereinafter referred to as R136.01 version). Compared with the previous version, the following revisions
have been made: 1. Overcurrent test
2 has been added; vibration, thermal shock and cycle, mechanical shock, external fire, SOC before external short circuit protection test has been revised from 50% to 95%
3; overcharge protection test current has been adjusted from 1/3C to the maximum charging current
specified by the manufacturer; 4. Overcharge protection and overdischarge protection have been added the SOC before the overcurrent protection test is about 50%
