01.GB/ T 36276 Test Object
the new standard applies to lithium-ion batteries for power storage, including battery cells, battery modules, and battery clusters. The main difference between this and the old standard is that the new standard clearly includes the battery cluster in the scope of application and is more comprehensive.
02.GB/ T 36276 battery monomer
the new standard defines the battery cell as "the basic unit that realizes the conversion of chemical energy and electrical energy, consisting of positive electrode, negative electrode, diaphragm, electrolyte, shell and terminal", which is basically consistent with the definition of the old standard, but more concise and clear.
03.GB/ T 36276 Battery Module
the new standard defines the battery module as "a battery assembly with battery cells connected in series, parallel or series-parallel, and only a pair of positive and negative output terminals, and should also include components such as housing, management and protection devices", which is basically consistent with the definition of the old standard, but the new standard adds a description of "only a pair of positive and negative output terminals" to make it clearer.
04.GB/ T 36276 Battery Cluster
the new standard defines the battery cluster as "a battery assembly with battery modules connected in series, parallel or series-parallel, and connected with energy storage converter and auxiliary facilities to realize independent operation. It should also include battery management system, monitoring and protection circuit, electrical and communication interface and other components", which is basically consistent with the definition of the old standard, however, the new standard adds the description of "independent operation after connection with the energy storage converter and ancillary facilities", which is more clear.
