Unprotected Motor Stall Test, Standard UL 1004-1

1. test method:
1. First, block the motor rotor and ground the motor shell through a 3A fuse.

Motor stall test for impedance protection, standard UL 1004-2

1. test method:
1. The pre-test preparation is the same as in Articles 1, 2 and 3 of UL 1004-1 above.
2. After power-on, continuous blocking for 3 days, thermocouple monitoring coil temperature.
3. After the locked-rotor test, the first withstand voltage test shall be carried out according to UL1004-1 Table 43.1.
4. After passing the withstand voltage test, continue to block the rotation for 15 days without monitoring the coil temperature.

5. After 15 days of blocked rotation, the second withstand voltage test shall be carried out according to UL1004-1 Table 43.1.

2. judgment basis:
1 The grounding fuse is not disconnected during the locked rotor test, and the coil temperature cannot exceed the limit of UL 1004-2 Table 3.1. After the completion of the stall, the sample can work normally, and the two withstand voltage tests are not broken down. The locked rotor test passes, otherwise the test fails.

Motor stall test with thermal protection, standard UL 1004-3
