[Sustainable Development] Garbage Classification ing How to classify construction waste? Where did you go in the end?

As an inevitable product of urban renewal, construction waste is the largest part of urban waste, accounting for about 30%-40% of the total amount of waste. The "Technical Code for Construction Waste Treatment" (CJJ134-2009) implemented on July 1, 2010 pointed out that construction waste refers to the construction, transformation, decoration, demolition, and laying of various buildings and structures and their auxiliary facilities. All kinds of solid wastes generated mainly include muck, waste concrete, broken bricks and tiles, waste asphalt, waste pipes, waste wood, etc. Different structural forms of construction sites, the proportion of garbage composition is slightly different; construction management level is different, the amount of garbage is also very different. Many wastes in construction waste can be reused as renewable resources after sorting, eliminating or crushing. Therefore, in order to improve the efficiency of the subsequent recycling of construction waste, thereby reducing environmental pollution and land occupation, it is necessary to carry out a good classification of construction waste from the source.

In recent years, China has successively issued documents on the treatment of construction waste: the interim measures for the Administration of the Standard conditions of the Construction waste Resource Utilization Industry in 2016 and the Circular Development leading Action in 2017 all put forward requirements and objectives for the treatment of construction waste, but the specific classification of construction waste is not expounded in the relevant documents. In 2018, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development issued 《 notice on the pilot work of construction waste management it was decided to carry out pilot work on construction waste management in 35 cities (districts) including Beijing, but most of these 35 cities have not clarified the classification method of construction waste. The composition of construction waste has a great relationship with building materials, building structure and the nature of construction activities, and is even affected by the geographical scope. Therefore, each city should formulate different classification methods for construction waste according to the characteristics of construction waste generated in this place.

At present, some developed countries and regions abroad have formed a more systematic classified management method of construction waste the specific classification method is shown in Table 1.

As can be seen from Table 1, the classification methods of the four countries are roughly the same, and they will classify concrete, metal, and wood separately. Germany also classifies metal into steel and aluminum, which are treated with different recycling technologies. Canada has more types of construction waste than the other three countries and, like Germany, treats asbestos separately as construction waste.

in vigorously promoting green development, low-carbon development and circular development at present, as a construction industry with high resource consumption and high environmental pollution, the implementation of construction waste resource utilization is the concrete embodiment of practicing the concept of green development, and also the realization sustainable development the inherent requirements.
