With the increasing popularity of portable backup power supply, there are various styles of portable backup power supply on the market. According to incomplete statistics, many products on the market can not meet the requirements of relevant laws and regulations, and even lead to a variety of security problems.
01 Portable Power Supply
so, what kind of portable backup power supply is safe? Of course, products that meet the relevant laws and regulations and standards of various countries and regions are considered safe products. The earliest standard for portable backup power products comes from the United States. The standard number UL 2743 STANDARD FOR SAFETY - Portable Power Packs has been published in the first edition as early as 2016. It is suitable for built-in batteries and has one or more input and output ports. It can be equipped with various portable power products such as automobile emergency ignition function, lighting lamp, emergency alarm lamp, voltmeter, built-in air pump and other similar functional products, however, products within the scope of UL 2056 are not within the scope of this standard.
A safe portable backup power supply product first depends on the safety of its own key components. Especially when designing products and selecting supply chains, if the safety of key components is fully considered, the surface will increase product development and production costs. In fact, for enterprises that require safe and reliable products, it means fewer detours, reducing product development costs and development cycles, and development costs will naturally be greatly reduced, market risk is controlled, play a faster and better occupation of the first opportunity to win the market.
