Two ways of separation plant inspection:
mode 1: The product is partially made in Factory A and partially made in Factory B. When UL certification is made, we will make the product produced by Factory A into a part. UL certification, then set up a UL file number and factory for A, then Factory B will take this component and do the final assembly in its own factory, then UL will apply for UL certification of parts or UL certification of the whole machine according to the actual situation, UL will set up UL file number and factory for Long B. In this case, UL certification will have two annual UL certification fees and UL certification factory inspection fees.
Mode 2: Factory A and Factory B make a decision according to the actual business situation. A or B will apply for the final UL certification, and the other party will transfer the corresponding accessories to the applicant. Then the applicant needs to inform UL when doing UL certification, and this product will be completed jointly by factory a and factory B. At this time, UL will set up two factories in the system when dealing with the UL certification of the project, and indicate that the separation factory inspection should be done. In this case, UL certification will actually have two UL certification annual fees and UL certification factory inspection fees.
Different situations, choose different ways, the current mode 2 is more mainstream operation. Mode 1,A,B factory will only see their own UL certification report. Mode 2,A, B factory can see each other's UL certification report.

it is very simple. When the project is opened or quoted by UL, UL will make a note in the system and issue a simple document requirement. The applicant only needs to fill in the different factory information clearly and UL will make a record in its corresponding UL document.
