1) The certification standard GB19212.1-2003 and GB19212.18-2006 are updated to GB19212.1-2008 and GB19212.17-2013;
2) Scope of application: add "internal frequency is greater than 500Hz", "rated frequency 500Hz to 1MHz" is modified to "rated frequency exceeds 500Hz but not more than 100MHz", and rated output is modified to "25kVA not exceeding single-phase transformer; 40kVA for multiphase transformer";
3) When the certification is GB8898-2011 according to the standard in Annex 3, the insulation resistance is no longer listed as a routine inspection item, but only as a confirmation inspection item.
The requirements for the implementation of the new standard GB19212.1-2008 and GB19212.17-2013 are as follows:
the standard GB19212.17-2013 for transformers for switching power supplies "safety of transformers, reactors, power supply units and similar products with power supply voltage of 1100V and below-part 17: special requirements and tests for transformers for switching power supply units and switching power supply units" (hereinafter referred to as the new standard) was issued on December 17, 2013 and implemented on November 14, 2014. it will replace the GB19212.18-2006 standard (hereinafter referred to as the old standard).
In order to ensure the effective implementation of the product certification system, the relevant requirements for the implementation of the new version of the standard for the safety certification of switching power supply transformers are as follows:
1. Before November 14, 2014, enterprises can apply for certification according to the new version of the standard or the old version of the standard according to their wishes. After November 14, 2014, certification must be implemented in accordance with the new version of the standard and a new version of the standard certification certificate must be issued.
2. The holder of the old standard certification certificate may submit an application for converting the new standard certification certificate to CQC after the issuance of this notice, accept the difference test, and issue the new standard certification certificate after passing the test. The conversion of the old standard certification certificate should be completed before November 14, 2015. CQC will suspend the certification certificate that has not been converted within the time limit. Those who have not completed the conversion before November 14, 2016 will be revoked.
