UL 1977 Component Connectors for Data, Signal, Control and Power Applications
UL 1977 is suitable for commercial or household electronic equipment on the connector. The live plug performance of the connector can be evaluated. The connector can only be used indoors
UL 2238 Cable Assemblies and Accessories for Industrial Control and Signal Distribution
the UL2238 standard is applicable to industrial or commercial connectors, waterproof connectors, etc. Generally not used for live plug. The connector can be used outdoors, or indoors.
UL 4128 battery energy storage system connector UL certification standards
the UL 4128 standard covers mating halves of inter-cell and inter-layer connectors for electrochemical cell system applications. Inter-cell connectors and inter-layer connectors consist of cable connectors, cables and mating inlets, and are intended for electrochemical cell system applications. These connectors are rated for up to 2,000 Vdc or less and are not suitable for connection or disconnection under load conditions. They are intended to be assembled onto copper or copper alloy conductors.
UL 6703 standard for Connectors for Photovoltaic Systems
-This standard covers latching or locking type photovoltaic connectors as free connectors (independent entities) or as fixed connectors (panel or partition type) with a rated voltage of 1500V ac or dc or lower. These connectors are suitable for the wiring methods detailed in Part IV of Article 690 of the National Electrical Code NFPA 70.
-This standard applies to unipolar photovoltaic connectors with insulated stranded copper type USE-2 or photovoltaic lines (PV lines) with drying temperature of 90°C, 105°C, 125°C or 150°C; 90°C wet; 600, 1000 or 2000V.
-The standard also covers locking or locking multi-pole PV connectors rated at i1500 Vac or dc or lower. The multipolar PV connector consists of a connector, a panel mount connector, a power distribution block, and a splitter connector, the purpose of which is to facilitate the connection with the inverter and similar equipment in the photovoltaic system.
-This standard is also applicable to multipolar PV connectors, suitable for TC-ER, USE-2 type insulated stranded copper or photovoltaic lines (PV lines) rated at 90°C, 105°C, 125°C or 150 C dry; 90°C wet; 600, 1000 or 2000V.
