1. China mainland CQC

series requirements:

battery (cell)

1. The positive and negative electrode materials, diaphragms and electrolytes are the same;

2. The same safety design (such as pressure relief valve, etc.);

3. Same shape and size (cylindrical, square, etc.);

4. The assembly method is the same (winding type, lamination type);

5. Same type (hard shell, soft bag);

6. The nominal voltage is the same, and the rated capacity changes within 20%.

Battery pack (pack)

1. The nominal voltage and rated capacity are the same;

2. The same type of battery (including series-parallel mode);

3. The protection circuit design layout is the same:

4. Built-in type and external type are evaluated separately.

Sampling principle and sampling quantity:

in principle, send samples as follows:

1. Send principle:

for batteries, the series models in the same unit take the maximum capacity decreasing downward by 20% as an interval, and send the maximum capacity product models in each interval to carry out all test items, and the intermediate capacity (or closest) and minimum capacity (or closest) product models respectively carry out Article 6.1 (high temperature external short circuit), 6.2 (overcharge) and 7.6 (extrusion) tests;

2. Quantity of samples delivered:

a. 24 battery samples (6 more spare samples can be sent);

b. 37 samples for battery pack (3 more spare samples can be sent).

2. China Taiwan BSMI

series requirements:

Single cell/Cell main type classification (series) principle:

1. Cathode material: the same material and different composition ratio of the battery for the same main type.

2. Batteries with the same shape (cylindrical, diamond-shaped and polymer batteries) and different aspect ratios are of the same main type; The size is not limited.

3. Process. The series of different capacities in "winding" and "lamination" shall be tested for single cells of maximum and minimum capacity.

sampling rules:

battery: maximum capacity model: 83 pcs, minimum capacity model: 83 pcs. Pack series application, its Cell does not need series application, confirm that Cell is a recognized product, Cell is not a recognized product can also apply for random testing.

When the Pack meets the series requirements, the main model and series models of different batteries shall be provided with samples for all tests, so each model shall be provided with 21. sampling rules: For the series models in the same unit, the maximum capacity decreases by 20% as an interval, and the maximum capacity product models in each interval are sent for all test items. If the capacity range of series models in the same unit is within 20%, the models with the highest capacity, the lowest capacity, and the intermediate capacity are selected as the test models.

4. India BIS

series Requirements: The same rated voltage, the same structure, the same positive and negative materials/electrolyte.

sampling rules: the highest capacity model is used as the main test model, and one registered model is matched with up to 19 series models.

5. the United States UL1642

series requirements:

the chemical system is the same, the electrolyte, the electrode material is the same, the diaphragm is the same, only the size and capacity are different.

Sampling principle:

(1) the largest capacity,

(2) the smallest capacity,

(3) the maximum energy density,

(4) the maximum charging current.

If only 2 models can be drawn according to the above rules, another intermediate value of capacity is drawn (the sampling rule of intermediate capacity is that the maximum + minimum is divided by 2, and then the nearest model is drawn up) to ensure that at least 3 models are drawn.

6. South Korea KC

series requirements:

1. Type of cell:

a. Lithium ion cell; Lithium polymer cell

2. The shape of the cell: a. cylindrical; B. rhombus

3. Main materials of the cell: a. Positive electrode B. Negative electrode

4. shape of battery core: a. soft bag B. hard shell

5. Capacity division of cells

a. Cylindrical: ≤ 2400mAh;>2400mAh

b. Rhombic lithium polymer:

≤ 1500mAh;≤ 3000mAh;≤ 5000mAh;>5000mAh

6. Upper charging voltage: ≤ 4.25V;>4.25V

7. Series-parallel mode:

a. no series, parallel

b. There is no series connection (the protection IC of the battery is the same as that of another battery)

8. Same protection device and specifications, FUSE, PTC, IC, etc.
